The game where you catch pumpkins
Happy Halloween
A small game where you catch pumpkins and get points.
How to play
Pumpkins start falling and spawning faster the higher score you have. If you let a pumpkin drop to the ground - you lose.
Avoid rotten pumpkins, collecting these will also make you lose.
DOWNLOADING IS RECOMMENDED - The sound is very low quality in the browser.
Controls
- Left Arrow/A; Right Arrow/D - Move
- Space - Sprint
- R - Reset
- M - Mute music (I made it just so there is some, it doesn't really fit imo)
- B - Toggle colored background

Made using Haxe language and HaxeFlixel framework. Sound effects generated with ChipTone. Music made with BeepBox. Sprites drawn with Aseprite.

the pumpkins begin to slowly fade away, and the music gradually becomes quieter as you realise you have actually been in coma for every 20 years

hard, also can you put them closer to the ground when you start?
Honestly, I think it would look ugly since they are going to materialize out of thin air, and unlike the top of the screen, making them appear near the middle will not be justifiable at all.

That would require rewriting the entirety of pumpkins movement in a really unfavorable way, if you think they are too slow then I recommend playing in hard mode because pumpkins become faster in 2 times on collecting
wanted to get 69 score but then i gave up :(
